Lionel iCab
Lionel iCab is a free iPhone app developed by Lionel LLC in the Utilities & Tools category. This app allows users to control Lionel TMCC and LEGACY engines, accessories, and trains using their Apple iPhone or iPod Touch device.
With Lionel iCab, users can enjoy several popular features from Lionel's flagship hardware-based LEGACY CAB2 remote, including the Train Builder and Quilling Whistle. The app also includes extended Legacy locomotive control screens, a speed graph with target and actual speed, and six preset official railroad speeds.
In addition, iCab features an accessory control screen, a special screen for Legacy StationSounds Diner car control, and the ability to automatically load the Engine Roster (LEGACY Command Base required). The Train Builder feature allows users to combine multiple locomotives, rolling stock, and accessories for unified operation.
Please note that additional hardware is required to use iCab. For easy control of layout switches and accessories, users can also utilize the Lionel LCS app for iPad. The iCab app requires Lionel LCS WiFito connect to your layout, and the Lionel command base model Base-1L. Additional features are available with a Legacy command base (v1.52 required). All necessary hardware is available from Lionel LLC.
